01 open
更多指空间上的打开
从封闭的状态变为开放的状态
1. 门/窗等
Jack opened the window.
杰克打开了窗户。
She heard a door open and then close.
她听到有扇门开了又关上。
补充：想表达“窗户开小缝”，可以用crack open the window
2.容器/包裹
He opened the letter and began to read it.
他打开信读了起来。
The children were opening their presents.
孩子们在拆礼物。
3. 眼睛/嘴
Barry was awake long before he opened his eyes.
巴里睁开眼睛之前早就醒了。
He opened his mouth but couldn't think what to say.
他张开嘴，但想不出该说什么。
4. 张开/ 展开
I sat down and opened my book.
我坐下来打开书本。
She opened her umbrella.
她打开伞。
The flowers only open during bright weather.
这种花只在睛朗的天气里开放。
5. 计算机文件
Click on this icon to open the File Manager.
点击这个图标打开文件管理器。
Tips:
"open"的反义词一般用"close"，意思是“关闭、合上”，所以“合上书本”是"close the book"，“关上门”是"close the door"。
02 turn on
阀门，气门，活门或开关，按钮
用于打开某种电器或某种设备
1. 自来水/ 煤气
He turned on the gas and lit the stove.
他打开煤气，点燃炉子。
'I'm thirsty, ' she said, turning on the tap.
“我渴了。”她说着，打开了水龙头。
2. 机器/ 电子设备（启动或开启某个设备系统）
Jake turned on his computer and checked his mail.
杰克打开电脑查看电子邮件。
注意：此处要与“打开电脑文件”区别！
"turn on"可以理解为拧开。通常用于电器或设备，使其运作。所以开灯的英文表达是"turn on the light" ，不能使用"open"~
switch on与turn on在绝大部分地方可以互换
主要用于电器
例如：
switch on the oven 打开微波炉
switch on the lamp 打开台灯
Tips:
"turn on"的反义词是"turn off"，“关灯”就是"turn off the light"。
